    I tried downloading an update for Rainbow Six Siege, and when it reached 53% it stopped. When I try to resume it, it just instantly stops again. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I think the account being used needs to be connected to live, not just any account on the xbox, in this case, yours. I can't be sure though as i have had live all my life so wouldnt know either way, could you not set his account up to a silver membership
    though.. it's free, and that way he can connect to live from your box and get the update? I'm assuming when you say he has not got live, you mean he is neither silver nor gold, if hes all ready silver i apologise, like i say, i've always been gold so I'm really
    just guessing. But i imagine even silvers get update prompts, so my guess is he's neither.

    In short, sign him up for silver membership, then you should be good to go

    Clear the console cache by holding down the power button for 10 secs and try updating again.

    I'm having the same status code too. Tried clearing the console cache, it did nothing. Tried downloading updates to a flashdrive, it did nothing. Also, I'm having problems where almost every game that I want to play on Xbox Live requires an update. Netflix
    & Call of Duty: Black Ops work fine. But Rockband & others don't work.

    Have you been able to try the steps in our

    There are several different solutions that may help get things sorted out. Please let us know how those work for you and we'll go from there.
