Hellooooo. I have a pretty big "problem" and I have no idea what it could be. It turns out that for years I have been sharing games and Game Pass with a friend on a console in a very simple way. I log in with his profile in my console and assign it as the main console and he has exactly the same, he enters his console with my profile and assigns it as the main console. This way we both have access to all the games we have purchased individually, everything I buy can be used by him and vice versa. This obviously applied to Game Pass, which paid us both. I explain this just in case, but I'm sure everyone already knows this way of sharing games. But around mid-December I realized that we have all the benefits except Game Pass, even though it lets us share everything, for some reason it no longer works for one of us. It allows access to the list of games it offers but it does not allow you to play in the cloud and as it says "We do not have Ultimate" Is there a solution or has the "little trick" already been ruined?

no it's not possible to transfer games or subs to another account.

But there is a trick how you can use it with your other accounts too:

1. Make the account with the GPU it's home console to share games with other profiles on this console.

2. Be sure that your main account or any other acc. is NOT set to home console !

So you'll be able to play the games with your main account.

Make sure your main account with the game pass subscription is assigned has to be your main console.

After that any game you download with your main account can be played by anyone logged in your main console.

Yeah, there would be no way to trick the system and bypass that. The other alternative is to buy Game Pass Ultimate. If you play online on the console, you need Gold anyway and that would be cheaper than buying Game Pass and Gold separately, plus you'd get PC Game Pass, cloud gaming, and other perks.

That would actually not help Xbox at all as Service and Subscription Profits are keeps the company alive. The future of Xbox is Ultimate Game Pass as individual game sales and console sales are not the main income source of the brand.
