    Help with some bedrock/PC/Xbox account minecraft fiasco.


    Account A: is my main account, has many, many minecraft bedrock purchases on it over the years, that my son was mainly using on PS4, tablets, etc.

    He is now on a computer on account B as a "child" of account A. Purchased bedrock for account B by having account B "request" the purchase from the parent. When he logged in, new xbox gamer tag and no purchases. Switched to account A's xbox account within bedrock, and that allowed him access to all the legacy purchase. This has cause 2 major issues, however:

    1. Anything he requests of a parent to buy with bedrock now, technically comes from account B, even though he is logged into xbox account A. So even if they are approved, he never sees them in game. I can only assume they are applied to account B. I actually can't believe its possible to get into this situation organically, but putting that aside...
    2. I'd like to start a bedrock realms subscription so he can play with his friends, but there seems to be literally no possible way to do this outside of bedrock. And if you try to do this within his new bedrock, you guessed it, "ask your parent", and im assuming it would not be associated with the account we cared about.

    Any ideas how to unwind this entire mess, or get this straightened out? Or at the very least, can I sign up for a bedrock realms account without having bedrock?

    No, if you purchase Minecraft Bedrock on PS4 and link your Microsoft account with your PS4 account, it will not sync the purchase with the accounts. Minecraft Bedrock purchases are tied to the platform on which they are made. If you purchase Minecraft Bedrock on PC, you will only be able to play it on PC. If you purchase Minecraft Bedrock on PS4, you will only be able to play it on PS4.

    However, there is an exception to this rule. If you buy Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you will also be able to play Minecraft Bedrock on your mobile device. This is because Minecraft Java Edition and Minecraft Bedrock are compatible with the "Minecraft Live" feature.

    If you just want to play the Minecraft you paid for on your PC, you don't need to buy Minecraft Bedrock for PS4. You can download the free version of Minecraft: Java Edition from the Minecraft website.

    Here are some steps to download the free version of Minecraft: Java Edition:

    Visit the Minecraft website.
    Click on the "Download Minecraft" button.
    Select "Minecraft: Java Edition".
    Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the download.

If you are playing Minecraft for Windows through family sharing, you may not be able to access Minecraft: Java Edition without buying on this account.



    You can also try signing out on Microsoft Store App, Xbox App, as well as Minecraft launcher then sign back in.

    Or, try to validate first if the transaction is successful. Please sign in to Microsoft account | Order history and check if you can see the order from there stated as “completed”. Once confirmed sign out on Microsoft Store App, Xbox App, as well as Minecraft launcher then sign back in.

    Need Help accessing the other version of Minecraft after both were given if you only owned one of them?

    If it's only Minecraft it means that it is the Minecraft Bedrock Edition that is for Xbox only, the license of Minecraft Bedrock for PC is a different license. This is why we're experiencing the issue, xTCN123x.
