    Help with remotely accessing XBOX One


    I am getting the error "We couldn't find an Xbox One console with the IP address provided"

    I set up the Port forwarding rules and allowed game streaming from other devices on my XBOX and even tried opening DMZ to my Xbox's local IP.

    I tested connecting through my Local network and it does work but I just cannot seem to access it from another IP.

    Any suggestions on what to do, any help would be great?

    Xbox one game sharing-not the sharing you think!

    I believe he's referring to the Remote Play, or Remote Access (whatever Sony caled it) where you're allowing someone to watch your session and authorizing them to acess your controller to help you out, like how remote access works
    on a PC. I'm not sure if XBox one has even confirmed this sort of feature, but yeah I agree it would be nice. The only other way someone would be able to watch is if you're using the Twitch.TV broadcasting built into XBox One, but then rom there thehelp
    part would be up to you to check with who's watching, to check the chatlog and that sort.

    They have changed the terminology several times. It's the one that says you can access your xbox remotely

    No as that function wasn't .available for xbox 360 only remote access would be smart glass or the discontinued media center

    Not to mention the runtimes aren't compatible

    You can play via remote play via xbox one or higher or cloud

    Make sure Remote Access is enabled on your Xbox:

    Xbox Dashboard > All games & apps > Full Library > Remote Access: ON
