Help with recovering a hacked account

So recently one of my microsoft accounts has been hacked into. I fell for a stupid scam and now I can't get back into it. I know the new email they changed it to but, if I try to recover it, it says I did not add enough "info" to prove it is my account. This microsoft account was made because I had to migrate my minecraft account and because it was made for the sole purpose of migration I have used it for nothing else. That means that all the "info" I can use is the info I used to make the account, like my name, address and postal code. However I can access the minecraft account that email is tied to, sadly it only asks if I used skype, xbox or have an outlook account. There is also a thing which asks if I made any purchases with the account. You may think minecraft would count as one but I bought the game before I made the email so that wont help either. I don't know any other way I could prove that it is my account other than using the details that I put in when I made the account and the fact that I can still access minecraft with the account tied to the email.

If there is anyone reading this who could help me I would be extremely thankful if you could and if there are any microsoft employees that have read this I ask that you make it easier to recover your account after it has been hacked into.

Josef I cannot explain my thanks in words. For two days now I have been trying to contact microsoft in order to get this solved and you just helped me get a step closer. The lines are closed for tonight but when I wake up tomorrow I will try. Even if it doesn't work I want to express just how thankful I am for this information.
