    I tried reinstalling gta 5 but it keeps getting stuck on 52.4% and then saying installation stopped. I tried some of the steps i found online about clearing local saved game data and i even reset my xbox but kept games and apps. I tried the installing when offline but the game then gets stuck on 4.7%. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, my name is Ezequiel and thank you for your question and for reaching out. Hello Lewis how are you?

    Excuse the question but is your game on disk?

    If your game is on disc, delete it from the console.

    If you have a cell phone or tablet, download the app called Xbox.

    After downloading the Xbox app, sign in with your account.

    Look for the app store where you just downloaded the GTA V game.

    Look in the app that you just downloaded the GTA V game and click on download.

    The download will start on your console.

    After completion, insert your disk and play.

    Do you have any extra storage devices? (idk if that could cause it or not)

    If you could barrow a disc then problem solved.... (i know, no help)

    (if you followed a some guide, list the steps you tried. Rule that stuff out.)

    What happens when you resume installation? If you get any progress (like if you see mb/s or kb/s) it may be an agonizing game of patients. (in my experience its a hump that once you get over it'll speed up again)

    If you see the ready to* play message before its finished, DO NOT START THE GAME, just let it finish.
