hi guys hope you can help i brought a £50 xbox gift card when the servers were down and when i try to redeem the code it says that the code has been deactivated and still says that now anyway to resolve this?

Don't know what to do to help, but you can digitally buy an Xbox gift card from the MS store and apply it to your Xbox.

Was this a Store or an Xbox gift card. Certain gift cards cannot be used in certain stores. Can you check the type of gift card it is please.

Hello Naomi,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. If the gift card is like a Visa gift card they may work. If the gift card is Microsoft currency yes you should be able to purchase V-bucks with that.

I would recommend speaking to a billing support team member as they may be able to better assist you in regards to the transaction and potentially getting things sorted or refunded. Below is a great link to Xbox support in regards to billing which I think
will help.
