Help with getting DVDs to play

Ok so if you reread my question, you'll see I've already tried this and the download doesn't seem to be working/it's stuck saying the download is queued but it doesn't seem to be downloading.

Is this your first time trying to play DVDs on your console? Does the issue happen to all DVDs? How about your game discs?

Please note that some DVDs are region-locked and can only be played if your console region by hardware matches with the DVDs region.

Nothing needs to be downloaded to play DVDs on a 360. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/xbox-360/console/watch-dvds-movies#:~:text=You%20don't%20need%20any,DVD%20automatically%20starts%20to%20play. You may want to check with them to make sure they're trying to play a standard DVD and not a blu-ray or something.
