Help with connection issues xbox one x less than a year old (controller/headset/internet)

We understand that you have issues with your Xbox console. As per description, the controller and headset randomly disconnect in the middle of playing a game. You tried buying a different controller and a headset and yet still the same issue.

I don't believe it has anything to do with the 4K..

It might be an actual issue with that particular Xbox one X controller where the headset connects into the

3.5 mm jack. If possible, you might want to try another Xbox one X controller (if you have one or if you can borrow one) and

connect the headset to that one

to see if it works.. that'll tell you whether or not the issue is actually with the controller.. and since it's an Xbox one X, it'll

definitely still be under the 1 year manufacturer warranty for you to be able to replace the controller.

Hi Paul,

I have 4 xbox one controllers that don't recognize the turtle beach headset. They all worked previously but one day just stopped working. The mic display is muted. 2 of the controllers are less than 3 months old. I
have 2 headsets that are new and they work with other devices. I've read many people with the same issues. Can you help? Thanks

probably it's some issue with your internet connection.

BTW, a newer console is probably more optimized than a old one (needs less power, generates less heat etc.)

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We recommend trying the headsets on a phone or PC to see if they work correctly. If they do it is most likely the 3.5mm jack on the controller that is not working. If that is the case, if the controller is
in warranty (less than 90 days old) can get it replaced that way. If it is over that, you can try the

stereo headset adapter. This plugs into the controller via the USB type connection next to the 3.5mm jack.
