    Help with changing the recovery email address. I was hacked


    My Microsoft account was hacked and the recovery email was changed. In order to change the recovery email address I need a code that is sent to the recovery email address, which I can't access...because it is not my email address. I can't update two factor authentication, because that too is linked to the recovery email address. If the hacker wants to change my recently changed password, the change will be sent to the recovery email address. I need the recovery email address changed ASAP and I have been unable to speak with a human being at Microsoft. I currently have a change requested, which will take 30 days and in that time the hacker can simply cancel the request because....the recovery email address!

    I got my Xbox account hacked

    Sorry mate I can’t find on any consoles anywhere the email related too the gamertag it got wiped out or taken off the console but most likely taken off. But I don’t know if the person that hacked it changed the email for it also. So that why I need help if there any other way too find the email address linked with hacked my Xbox account because I can’t find on the console sadly.
    Any other way to find the email address would be on your end..there's no other way on MS's end

    I don't know if it has been enabled, but I know that the email address has been changed and when I enter the changed email address in account recovery, it tells me that there are too many account recovery notifications for this account.

    You need to call your credit card company and cancels yours cards ASAP!!! You can try and go through account recovery but Im pretty sure password and email address has been changed. When you go through account recovery they sends an email to your address
    on file. If its no longer your account its no use because you wont get the emails. Not sure how it was hacked but this is a VERY unfortunate situation ;/

    I tried using the 'account recovery form' however it asks for the email of the account but since it was hacked and the email was changed I dont know the email.

    WHY DOES MY ACCOUNT NOT EXIST?

    The hacker could only have changed your account email address and deleted the old one. If it wasn't that, you could not be able to create another Microsoft account with the same email.

    And if you change a Microsoft account email address, you will not delete the Xbox gamertag associated with it.

    Probably the hacker is using your account to play Minecraft. You can contact Microsoft Official support but they will tell you the same thing: the only option to recover a hacked account is by using the recovery form:

    If the recovery form says your account does not exist (because the hacker changed its email address) you cannot recover it. I'm sorry about that.
