Help with Belle of the Ball achievement

Hi all,

I'm hoping some of you may be able to help my wife out with her Dragon age game. She's played the game through almost 2 full times now, and she is having trouble getting the Belle of the Ball achievement.

I should mention I haven't played the game so I'm relaying the information. During the section of the game where you are trying to raise your approval "I have the approval rating at 100% and I looked in the guide book and answered all the questions the
way i'm supposed to, but I'm obviously missing something" . I guess she looked it up online but didn't find what she's looking for.

So if any of you can help out and suggest possibly what she did wrong or left out etc.., that'd be great.

Belle of the Ball

No spoilers here, but i was so focused on getting Belle of the ball, I only found half of the dirty secrets. Does anyone know if finding all of them influences the outcome of the mission?

 

Achievements app wont open - error code 0x87c40011

Reason being the Belle of the Ball achievement. Even if you finish it with 100% it can dock you points at the end so you need to see it pop before you proceed or your *** if you don't restart it.

 

I didn't watch the link that Eggnogga posted which probably explains in its entirety. And it is a while since I did it too. I didn't have that high approval and I didn't get the achievement first time either. For me it was the final choice on the dialogue
before you hit the final scene that I had got wrong. I think there are 3 or 4 choices and the other results in a fight. One gets the achievement and you don't fight.

 

When she dances with the duchess, chose the responses that...I guess asks a question in response.

I think it's the middle options.

When it's time to go back the first time, wait for the second bell before you enter.

 

There is a moment in time where you have the option of confronting the duchess as opposed to chasing her outdoors for a major showdown. If you choose the first option, Belle of the Ball achievement will pop up. You MAY have to be at 100% approval as well,
but I'm not totally sure. If you need more approval, make sure you turn in everything you have to Lilianna and also toss some of your coins into the little garden pond.
