Help with account subcription

I am the parent on an account for my son, his live subscription just recently ran out so I renewed it on the site here. I thought since I am the parent on the account the subscription would carry over to my sons account/system, but his Xbox is
not recognizing the new subscription. I don't want to buy another subscription...

lost subcription for premium

After windows crashed reinstalled now no longer have my anual subcription and don't want to pay twice how can I recover my premium subcription?

No, you cannot switch/tranfer your 12 mont gold subcription to another account, just decline FR sent and if necesarily block communications with them

I believe family Xbox subscriptions are needed for multiple accounts.

I believe if you are buying a individual code it has to be redeemed on the account that doesn't have it.

You may be able to get it transferred to another account via phone support.

Log into your account, go too your subcriptions and turn off the auto renewal.

hi, sorry mister cerb the troubleshooting stebs that you have suppled has not helped me, it still says that i have to have a gold live subcription, when it goes to subcription page , it says : looks like you are ready to go, it then returns to game and says
this profile is not allowed to play on xbox live.....my gold subcription ends 17-9-2014 . it is the gold live trail offer..........simon

In an addendum to my PAID rant above, 6) If I choose to take advantage of a subcription offer on my account, when auto renewal is already disabled at MY request, I should NOT be subject to forced AUTO RENEWAL ON simply because I am purchasing and PAYING
for a subcription extension or promotional offer.

Sorry but it can't be done.Gold subcriptions are linked to the account that bought/redeemed it & can't be transfered to another account.

You should never give out your account details to anyone.
