Help! Wired controller disconnects!

Just bought a new remote because I thought the other one had just had it. Maybe 10 minutes into game play, and it cuts off, Please reconnect controller. I unplugged, and reconnected to every port possible. When I plug in it lights up like its going to work
just to cut off. Everything else on the console is running smoothly. I even tried a wireless remote, and it does the same thing.

Controller disconnect while wired!

I hook up my controller to the Xbox one x via the usb cable once in a while. I noticed, at times, I would hear a “buzz” in the speakers and the controller would disconnect from the Xbox.

This is my conclusion- every time this happens, my dog has been close to the cable a second or two before the event. He has a CHIP which I believe is interfering with the single through the cable.

Sorry for replying again but it doesn't disconnect when my controller is wired up which is weird

 

Have you checked the wired controller to see if it has an update available?

Also try power cycling the box to give it a fresh start by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts off completely and restart it.
