    Help using my PC through X1 HDMI-in!


    Seems simple right? I can't figure it out.

    I have had my cable box plugged into my X1 since launch and used live TV. Now i want to try to use my PC by plugging it in with the HDMI-In outlet on Xbox one. I plugged in the cord to my Computer monitor and the X1 and nothing comes through. It says "We've
    lost your TV signal". Any comments?

    Help!

    I have 19" PC monitor and I want to play x1 through it but it only has a VGA port no hdmi, so I have purchased a hdmi to VGA with audio off ebay for £8. Is that the right thing to do? For my audio I was going to just plug my gaming headset straight into
    the cable. Help?

    Problems watching television when xbox one is off.

    Are you using the HDMI pass through from the cable box through the X1 to your TV. If so you will need the X1 turned on or no signal will reach your TV

    Hi Karma, make sure the hdmi port on the monitor is hdmi out. It has to be hdmi out in order to work.

    connecting xbox 360 to xbox one

    To connect the the 360 to the X1, you use the HDMI IN port. Therefore, signal is going from the 360 to the X1. You still need to connect the X1 to an HDMI compatible tv or use an adapter to connect to other connections. You can't play the X1 through the
    360.

    What about the Windows PC? Is there any planned connectivity between the two that might benefit using the HDMI pass through? Or is that literally only useful to people with TV services?

    You can essentially run anything that can hook up via HDMI through the X1. You could use the snap feature with this. Like snap your PC while playing a game.

    Xbox One game audio to headphones

    Hi. My PC, 360 and X1 all go into a Sony HT-FS3 via HDMI which produces the sound and passes the video feed via HDMI to my monitor. There is no headphone jack on the HT-FS3 or audio out other than via HDMI. To get my 360 to my headphones I used an audio
    adapter cable as well as an HDMI cable but there's no port for that on the X1. Thanks.
