Help TV OneGuide Not Letting Me Change Channels

I am watching TV on my Xbox One and I am stuck on the USA Network and cannot switch channels. I do not have the kinect camera so I use my controller to use it. I try to click A button but no luck.. Any advice? Please respond thanks!

Missing channels from Oneguide

Hey Slyrus,

Can you go to TV & OneGuide Settings -> OneGuide -> and change channel filtering to show all channels. Does that fix things?

You can also change the setting to only show HD or SD channels in the OneGuide. Go to Settings> TV & OneGuide settings> OneGuide> Show all HD and SD channels. That will remove any duplicate channels.

Are you able to pull-up the Xbox One guide? This can be done by pushing the (X) button on the Xbox Dashboard and or while in the TV app. Their are you able to scroll through the different Channels and select one.

if you could please try to re-setup the TV settings, this can be done by going to Settings, TV and OneGuide.

 

Hi, I tried resetting my TV one guide and I tried clicking X A B etc spamming buttons.. I tried clicking Nickelodeon or whatever to test it out and just stays on the USA Network. Not sure if I have to call my provider or something. What would you recommend?
I don't have the Kinect so I use my controller.. If you want to add me on GT and help me figure this out that would be cool.. Also is there a feature to record tv from xbox one or no?

 

Have you tried resetting the Cable-box. Removing the power cord from the box and then removing the Cable Line that goes into it. Wait about 5min after, then plug in the Cable line, along with the power. That should reset your Cable Box and have it refresh
the software.

Currently, the Xbox One does not have the option to record your TV shows, due to not having the option for the DVR. If you cable provider and your plan supports DVR you can still use your Cable remote to change channels, along with go to DVR.
