Help restoring game data on new Xbox

I had an issue with my Xbox; I believe my daughter spilled something on it and it stopped working. I let it go for a few days and it would turn on and run a game for a little while before just shutting off completely. Rather than try fixing the issue, whatever
it may be, I just purchased a used one off someone else.

When I went to play the only game I really play, there was a handful of things locked, that I had previously paid to unlock. I was wondering if there was a way to restore my most recent saved data? Had I not paid to unlock the characters on Ghost Recon Wildlands,
I quite honestly wouldn't care and just set about unlocking them all over again. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

saved to the cloud when logged into your Microsoft Account. Were some of the characters that were paid unlocked through micro-transactions or

downloadable dlc?

I appreciate your response. I figured that the cloud would just reload all of my previous data upon signing in. I suppose it didn't pull the latest data from the cloud. I was able to search the game passes that I purchased, and install them on

for this specific game you can do that, you can know if you can play with the same progress if the game is a xbox play anywhere title, not all are play anywhere, titles like this one, forza horizon 4 and halo MMC are play anywhere,, but for example final
fantasy XV is in the xbox store for pc and xbox, but it is not an xbox play anywhere title
