    Help resolve a split-screen issue please?


    Calling on the Xbox Community to help figure out a solution to my current issue at-hand here...

    Problem: 2 bro-roommates, 1 xbox console, 1 monitor...

    Solution ideas: split video cable connection to 2 different monitors, split-screen-stream from console to laptop (can a MS Surface Pro 6 play Rocket League or any C.O.D.?)

    Goal: Wanting to split-screen, so Player 1 can game in his room with the console and his player screen on his own monitor, and give Player 2 the ability to also game off the same console, but on his own monitor in his own room...

    Can this be done? Mod ideas?

    P.S. no other console involved.

    Xbox One Chat Adapter - Split Screen Games

    Hey there EasyTarget197!

    What you are experiencing is not game specific. Split screen audio for split screen games is not an available feature on the Xbox One. What this means is that all headsets playing a split screen game will receive combined audio.

    Please note that split-screen mode is only available for Duos and Squads modes, and has some limitations and restrictions. Players can’t share inventory using split-screen mode, and both players must have the same language settings to play on split-screen. If split-screen mode isn’t working as expected, check your internet connection. Split-screen mode will only work if your connection is stable.

    to add to the earlier message, also maybe you need to be online for the 4 player split screen to work? does the game state that 4 player split screen is available?

    A little more info may be helpful here:

    What game is it?

    What console do you have? (OG XBOX One, S or X?)

    Is the console fully up to date?

    Have all game updates been applied?

    There could be known issues with the game depending on the version of the console you have
