Problem with xbox one s mute symbol appears

When may wife talks to me I sometimes turn the audio off in settings just so I can talk freely without fear of my friends hearing all my amazing stories. Then I forget I turned the audio off and wonder why I can't talk to anyone. You may want to check
and see if that's the case with you. It sounds more like the headset or the controller jack itself is the issue to me though. Do you have any other controllers you can try?

I Have the same issue, someone suggested check if you have been blocked on live communication but it hasn't work for me due to it being a console issue

That means the mircophone is muted you can un mute it by going into settings on the audio settings pr by detaching the headset from the controller and putting it back normally works for it to be fixed up .
