HELP, Problem: I can play my games on xbox but I cant find their location XBOX PC

To find your Xbox app saved files on your PC, go to the file explorer and look for C:\Users\'your user name'\AppData\Local\Packages. Here, you will find your games under their title. From there, select a folder that you want to save and then click ‘SystemAppData' then ‘wgs', the acronym stands for ‘Windows Game Saves'.

Upon reaching this, you'll arrive at a folder that has two files, one your save file, and the other is the container file allowing the Xbox app to be able to identify the file saved. You can just back up these files and your progress will be saved.

Other locations that sometimes are used:

C:\Users\[Username]\Saved Games

C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local

C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\roaming

But usually Xbox saves your game progress on the cloud. If you have been playing online with your account all the saves get registered under the cloud saves.

Hey guys, cant seem to find a thread with the question i have. I Have the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and i play games on both my PC and Xbox. For example, I started playing The Outer Worlds, which i installed on both my PC and Xbox. However, I cant accses my
saved game from the PC on my Xbox so id have to start a whole new game.

Question:

Is there a way to access my saved game data from my PC and download, play it and have it sync across both platforms?

I have the same problem. Where did you purchase it? I bought the game package on my Xbox back in 2015, so I cant see it in the Xbox PC app, but I can download it through the store. Still cant play it on the PC, which I could a year ago.

Make sure the region code on your game disc matches the country where you purchased your console otherwise it wont play.
