Help please

Hi I would like to know how to compete against higher ranked players in PVP modes, Im rank 23 with 801 defence and every match they wipe the floor with me,the highest rank weapons i have are a shotgun at 213 and an auto rifle at 224, what is the best way
to get more powerfull weapons and armor please. And what do you do with materials like Mote of light, Stange coin and Ascendant energy. Any help would be great thanks

I have just set up my xbox one and the sound doesn't sound right. I have it on a 5.1 dolby system it's really odd on call of duty advanced warfare the centre speaker works during cinematic scenes but has no volume during game play it sounds ok and the gun and voice effects come mainly from the front two speakers but that can't be right????

Has anyone else got call of duty set up on 5.1 dolby system?

i dont have cod..

first i would go into settings and controller and update it.. (idk why) but somewhere along the line an update for headsets had something with dolby 5.1 in it.

i dont have cod so i cant say how my 5.1 sound bar works but the way i recall it is.. the developer sets the standard or output channels.. this is why forza worked next to polk audio to "dial in sound" its not really a microsoft thing as much as cod development.

i would check settings on xb1 to see if it is in dolby 5.1 or stereo
i would also check the settings in game to seewhat they are.

depending on your sound bar check and see i fit has a setting for analog or coax it may also have different modes.. game,movie,stereo,cinamatic each one does alter how sound is projected

 

Hi, PvP in destiny is not based around level and the damage a weapon does, everything in it is
balanced out, for example a level 5 player would do as much damage to a level 30 player as they do to them, the difference is what weapons you use and what abilities they have, and in the end, player skill. If you're looking to do better in
PvP your best shot is to get better weapons and armour, and change the way you approach enemies in a match.

The best strategy for obtaining better weapons and armour is by saving up
vanguard and crucible marks and buying legendary weapons and armour, which will both level you up and have better perks so will make a big difference in combat. Other than that you can do the
nightfalls (which I am aware you currently cannot do but you will once you have leveled up) which hand out lots of great loot and you can even get exotics from them which can help a LOT. Another way of getting better weapons are
exotic bounties which you can obtain randomly from the bounty vendor, but since this is random the best chance of getting one is by completing as many bounties as you can every day.

Motes of Light can be used for purchasing legendary class items from the speaker and can be used in Iron Banner tournaments, but the most useful way to spend them, in my opinion, is on
exotic armour engrams from Xur, Agent of the Nine who appears on
Fridays and Saturdays (he doesn't always sell them) and they can be a great help to level up and to give you better abilities to boost your chances of winning.
Strange coins are used to buy exotic weapons and armour from Xur too.
Ascendant materials are used for leveling up legendary armour and weapons (excluding Crota's End armour/weapons).
