Help, please! - Xbox Contoller problems

Hey everyone. I came here hoping for some answers regarding my Xbox One controller that's been having issues recently.

This started a few days ago where it accidentally fell from my grip and on to the floor. It has remained perfectly intact and the buttons aren't stuck.

But ever since then, the controller has been very buggy:

1) When trying to navigate, it skips over an app and proceeds to highlight the next one. So, its basically sensitive and doesn't want to highlight the app or screen it has skipped. This applies to all directions, left or right, up or down.

2) When it comes to certain menus, it never wants to go right. I tried to go to settings through the home button but it won't budge. Even if I kept it holding the d-pad or the left stick towards the right, there's a bunch of effect noises from the screen
and it'll get stuck on the social tab.

3) When selecting an app, despite me hitting the A button once, the screen shows me repeatedly selecting an app as if I was spamming the button.

Netflix seems to be the only app where I haven't had any issues. Where I have is with Youtube and racing games that use the triggers to drift and accelerate. What sucks is that I no longer have access to settings or any other home tab besides the main one.

I've tried looking for a problem similar to mine but everyone seems to have one or the other.

I have tried resetting, taking out the batteries and restarting the Xbox One console.

Is my controller broken? Or is there way to fix it?

I would really appreciate some input!
