I was thinking Project xCloud as well and as someone who has spent time with it, I would prefer it to a separate standalone portable system. We all have an Xbox controller and a phone, so the initial buy in costs are reduced significantly.

Plus, imagine the difference 5G will make to Project xCloud once it becomes more mainstream. With the power of cloud computing and fast mobile data transfer, it will be a powerhouse in itself.

I think with project xcloud it's not really needed. Perhaps they could just release some great controllers for mobile.

Project xCloud looks cool but I won't be using it because I like playing games on a tv with a controller more then trying to play a game on a small screen.

Project xCloud will only work with Xbox One controllers that have Bluetooth support. You will not be able to hard wire the controller to your mobile device and have it work that way.
