Help on License Migration/transfers

Hello, see, I did a license transfer at the start of the month and during this time I didn't at first want an Xbox of my own when I could use my brothers. But when he kept threatening to turn it off and such when I was playing my games with my friends
just because he wanted to play, that made me have enough. I bought my own Xbox today, however in order to play my games without Xbox live connection I need to do a license transfer, but in already did it at the start of the month. Is there any way I can re
do my license transfer and not wait four months until I can play my games..?

Sorry to hear it. Please contact phone support for your region and explain the situation to them. They may be able to initiate a manual transfer for you.

Why can't I use my purchased DLCs on other accounts on my same hard drive?

Every 3 or 4 months.... I believe license transfers are 4 months and account migrations is 3... could have them reversed. As far as I'm aware there's no restrictions other than the time-lock.

Unfortunately no,you would have to wait the 4 months.

You could try & contact support for your region
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us & explain the situation & they may perform a license transfer for you but it's highly unlikely.

You can do the license transfer on the console as well.

Go to Settings - Account - License Transfer - see if your able to start the License Migration that way.

You cannot transfer licenses between accounts. If you're previous account has been banned, then all licenses are forfeit. The license migration tool can only be used to transfer licenses from 1 console to another (generally, it is used whenever you get a
new console and will no longer be using the old one).

Hi, have you used the license transfer tool to migrate all of your licenses to your new hard drive yet?

You can find the instructions to do so here:
support.xbox.com/.../download-content

But basically, you'll want to sign in on your console with your gamertag, go to system settings, and then account. Go to "Your Billing Options", select license transfer, follow the instructions it gives you on the xbox, and then download all the content
again once the license transfer process has completed.

Please note that you can only transfer licenses once every 90 days, so please keep this in mind when performing a license transfer.
