Help needed regarding Xbox game pass payment

In 2019 I paid for an xbox game pass ultimate and I didn't cancel the subscription in time, now the expiration date is on 1/9/2019, can someone tell if Microsoft is going to steal my money? and if yes, can someone tell me how to avoid paying? Thanks in advance.

If that's the date taken from your account page (https://accounts.microsoft.com/services) then yes, you're most likely fine as it seems to have expired the same year. Current subscriptions will have the statement " next charge on 10/20/2021" below them if it is current.

The year on the expiration date you posted suggests it expired in 2019 which would indicate that it wasn't renewed.

Yes it is possible, but you will need to add a backup payment method on your account. Xbox Game Pass is a recurring subscription so it will require you to add a valid payment method in your account like bank or PayPal. When you are trying to pay for the Game Pass just select your Microsoft balance.
