Help Needed: Fortnite is not recognizing input from my Xbox One controller

Nope, people keep telling me to do the solutions that I told them I already did. There's one strange thing about Fortnite I have noticed that no other game does. On occasion I will have more than one game open. Recently I had Ark open and Fortnite at the same time so I could check on eggs in between matches. But when I was in ark the inputs from the controller was also going to Fortnite. But not the other way around. So I'm guessing Fortnite grabs the inputs from the controller in an unusual way

Hello Brando, Have you already tried to delete the control from the Windows bluetooth synchronization list, in the case of the PC you are downloading Fortnite directly through the Epic launcher.

Try to remove the control from the list, if it continues to recognize it, uninstall Fortnite, restart the PC and reinstall the game again.
