Recently, I bought an Xbox One. I created a Microsoft account during the setup, and redeemed a code for a year of Gold. I then tried to sign into the account one line, and Xbox.com created a completely new account, with a different gamer tag and no sign
of my Gold membership. How can I sign in to my own account.

Moderators can not help with support issues. All they can do is lock and edit posts along with bans from posting if needed.

A gamertag is linked to a Microsoft account. You can create a new account and associate a new gamertag with it, but all accounts must have a unique email address. This email address can be an existing address, but it can't already be associated with another
account.

To recap... one email address = one gamertag. But you don't need to create a new email address.

Greetings! Please Help. I had Winning codes issued from Xbox in my Hotmail account associated with my gamer tag. Microsoft Auto converted hotmail to Outlook now ALL my emails have disappeared. Many Outlook accounts suffered same fate. Deadline to redeem
codes is Friday February 28. I need codes reissued as this is not my fault & direct result of parent company Microsoft conversion error. Have been calling Microsoft, Outlook, Office, Xbox & Mcdonald's customer support & given run around since February 24th.
Please help.

Hi. I got pointed here too. I played MCC from launch day and was even messaged a code. My roommate took our xbox one and I hadn't been able to redeem it until now. Now I have my own xbox one, but the message expired. Is there a way to reissue a code? I met
the criteria for the code, and just need it reissued. Thanks for any assistance you're able to provide.
