HELP NEEDED - Every Install I try fails with error code 0x80242020

Okay so long story short... I am now installing "Enter the Gungeon" and have the others cued up for install with no errors being reported..

I tried to reset the cache for the Windows Store by the instructions in the link, but htta made no difference.

I then tried un-installing and re-installing the Xbox Beta app and still had the issue.

However, as it said the default drive was C: and not the E: that it was originally set to I tried to change the Xbox app to directly install on to E: by default through settings. When i tried this it gave an error saying it was un-able to change to that
drive. After seeing this i tried to do the same with the default locations in Windows Settings ( Start -> Settings -> System -> Storage -> Change where new content is saved(text link near bottom) ), i was then shocked to see windows advise it could not do
this also.

As the drive was new, i double checked that i did not have anything on it I required, then deleted the partition and set it back up again. After that re-started the PC, then tried changing the Windows Setting location again. This time it changed without
issue.

I then tried to change the default location for the Xbox Beta app, that also worked. It hen tried to download "Enter the Gungeon" and hey presto it works...

For some reason even though everything other than Xbox Beta could install to the drive there was an underline issue somehow with either the partition or the drive partition records that the Xbox Beta app just did not like.

Microsoft really need to make more effort with their Error codes and how issues are reported out of windows, especially as a large number of the Error codes that Windows generate when things go wrong are not documented by Microsoft. So that make it very
difficult to problem solve and fix the actual issue.

both webpage snippets look identical, however i think that they send you to different areas.

Im gonna look up this code ill get back with you as soon as i know something that can help.(today).

I have the same problem. When trying to download Sea of Thieves for the PC, I either get the error code 0x80242020, or it just allocates disc space indefinitely. Would appreciate some help..
