Help! My Xbox Series S won’t stop turning on and off by itself.

It seems so far that switching power outlets is helping. It’s still doing it every once in a while, but it’s a LOT less than what it was doing before.

Hello again, the intention of testing in another environment would be to rule out any outside issues so we would know the issue is entirely on the console and could trigger the warranty.

Hello AllieH11, Is your console connected to some kind of electrical stabilizer or along with other equipment?

Have you tried switching it to an electrical outlet to see if it continues to act the same way?

Yeah it’s still happening. Yesterday after I switched outlets it was happening less frequently. To the point that it lasted the whole night without turning itself on or off. But now it’s acting up again and it’s switched the console off now twice today. Unfortunately, I don’t have another house that I could bring the console over to test it. And the damn thing is so finicky on whether it wants to work some days or act possessed the next that I don’t know if it’d do any good to test it at another’s house.

I do have a smart TV and it happens when the TV’s both on and off, but I will try your suggestion and see if it helps! And good idea for the loose plug, I’ll definitely do that.
