    Help! My controller randomly disconnects and does it frequently.


    It only does this while playing Call of Duty: warzone 2.0. I’ve done everything in every forum and still can barely play the game. I’m on an Xbox one x and no other game nor app has this issue! What do I do? Seems like it’s fine when I disconnect my wired headset but only while playing warzone 2.0

    Does the One controller need line of sight to the console to work?

    It's all a mystery how the controller works, I can tell you it's very good at disconnecting frequently and randomly.

    Hi, you can't change the frequency of the controller at all.

    There are several factors that can cause interference though, large metallic objects such as a tv stand etc. Mobile devices such as phones and tablets, even your pc can all have some effect.

    This link shows a few things to try if you're having problems with the controller disconnecting randomly etc.

    I got 2 of the xsx controllers.. they used to disconnect randomly on the xsx.. but it seems like its fixed now. on win10 some games are basically unplayable.. randomly flashes and disconnects.. the older xbox one controllers have no problems at all. does microsoft know of this problem.. it should be pretty widespread.
