Help minecraft xbox1 to pc

Okay I spent countless hours on trying to get this working on the phone with Microsoft and Xbox not getting anywhere.

I have a digital license for Windows 10 and I have a hard copy as well as a digital license for my Xbox. issue that I'm having is when I'm on a world on the Windows 10 the Xbox cannot join. I disable the firewall the Xbox can see the world but it still won't
join. Not going from Windows 10 to Xbox I can join. Any suggestions I'm sure it's probably a setting on the Windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I can join the Xbox from my Windows 10 not a problem. The problem is if I'm on the Windows 10 open world the Xbox cannot join me. Both are on the same Microsoft account but different licensing.

Me and my wife play together on windows 10 and xbox one all the time, Maybe make sure you aren't on the same "xbox" account? also make sure you have the windows xbox companion app downloaded as well, I usually have her open the world on xbox and I join
on my PC
