Help me retrieve my original gamertag profile please

Hello Gaz, unfortunately if you changed your gamertag it is not possible to recover it.

My tenure says 7 years but only because I could not retrieve my

Gamertag from the original xbox. I started when the beta was out for live.

Are you asking if you can retrieve an old Gamertag after you've already changed it to a different one?

If so, unfortunately you wouldnt be able to retrieve the exact one, but you can create a new one that is similar.

I am receiving the exact problem as the original poster. I am in the United States, and my account is roughly a year and a half old. I try to change my Gamertag, it loads to the gamertag available page, I select change, and I am given "Can't retrieve information
from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later.

Status code: 80153051" in response

Finally got around to getting home and trying the download again, everythings working well so Smiles and Sunshine all round! Must have been the Uni connection, Thanks very much for all your help and patience!
