Help me, i messed up something with the link between my XBL account and my Epic games account

Hi Gold,

Unfortunately, we have no control over the linking of accounts with Epic. If it is not linking properly that would be something handled by Epic. It may be that the account was already linked. Now that you unlinked the account you are unable to link again.
We recommend looking on Epic site for more information.

I tried to link them in any possible way, and even if it's the same account it doesn't let me do it.

You may need to wait a brief period for the accounts to become unlinked in Epic's system. If you're positive the Xbox Live account you're trying to link isn't already linked to another Epic account, and you still can't link the XBL account to to your Epic
account via the above link, please contact customer service:

support page for assistance on linking and unlinking accounts. We have no way of seeing if the accounts are linked or not.

hey there

you can sign into your xbox account here https://www.epicgames.com/account/connected then click your epic profile in the top right this will show what epic account
is linked too your GT. If its wrong then you can unlink and then link too the correct one.

If you have any issue with that then reach out too epic support and they can assist with changing this with you

Thanks for update on the issue. Here in Xbox Forums, we do not have the appropriate resources to help with in-game Fortnite account. When you first Launch Fortnite on the Xbox One, you will receive message to create an Epic games account. With this account
you may link it to several different game platforms.

For in-game assistance with a Fortnite account, we recommend to click on the contact us on their
Fortnite Support center website for more assistance.
