Help!!!! Just out of warranty :(

if a reset to factory does not resolve the issue, go to the store you purchased from and claim CRA (consumer rights act) you will have to pay £60 for the check to make sure it is faulty and not caused by yourself, if found to be a fault with the device then you get the £60 back and they have to repair or replace it. This IS the law, and they have to abide by it.

When the game crashes, are you receiving an error code or nothing at all?
Do you have the console connected directly to the power outlet?

May I know what did you tried so far in your console to fix this problem?
This is to avoid giving you the same troubleshooting steps

Microsoft do not un-ban previously banned consoles as they are permanent. They do not ban people's consoles/accounts lightly, they do so after several investigations.

The most common reason for a banned console is modifying it, but there are other reasons such as marketplace theft.



You might want to post in section 14 in order to get an official answer.

Console Ban

The disk isn't necessarily the xbox's fault. If you move/knock over your xbox with a disk inside, it will scratch it. However the banned issue, lots and lots of people having that (including me) and I for one want to know why!

So am i just stuck with an out of warranty unit that just happened to break after the one year warranty is up.

Just tried to load up Doom Eternal and the disc wont read.

Is this why people trade in an xbox for a ps4?
