    Hello,

    I had un enrolled from skip ahead alpha 4 days ago. Then my xbox one X had issue and was sent off to the factory for testing. I get the same xbox back that had been factory reset at Microsoft and it turns out its im still in Alpha skip ahead preview program
    and I can't get out. I did re install game preview app and that app says I can join the alpha??? I have the alpha software installed which is: 10.0.17134.4056

    (rs4_release_xbox_dev_1806.180626-1359

    question to the Staff member of preview program: How do I fix this issue? re join preview program but in alpha then un enroll?

    I was a member of the skip ahead program couple days go.

    Anyone in alpha skip ahead having this same issue?

    My set up.....

    Hard wired Xbox one X (Alpha Skip Ahead)

    Gig download

    Router and modem functioning nomal

    I test my network on my Xbox daily. Today I had issues playing that just didnt make sense. Like shooting but no hit markers. So its been a week or so that i have reset everything. Hard shut down xbox, unplugged modem, powered off router. Let sit 5 min then
    plugged all back up and did a detailed network statistics. Everything was normal except download is at 0.00. Can still watch netfix game ect. There was an update yesterday for Alpha Skip Ahead but am un sure if this is related. All other devices are running
    normal (phone tests fine).

    I would try re joining it and see if that fixes the issue. let me know if it worked or not. otherwise I will try my best to help you!

    If you have unenrolled from the Alpha or Alpha Skip Ahead, the console will be marked in the Microsoft database for unenrollment.

    However, if the System wasn't factory reset, the Alpha/Skip Ahead Software is still installed.

    You might have to download an
    OSUDT to an USB stick     and do a factory reset with a fresh system install from USB.

    Klick on the link above and follow the instructions for updating your console offline (the tile on the right).

    Consoles that are enrolled in the preview program and are Alpha Or Alpha Skip ahead are randomly chosen to get the new dashboard. If your console has not been chosen, then there is nothing that can be done to to give your console the new dashboard.

    Xbox One & Xbox X - In Alpha Skip-Ahead Program Question

    I believe you can re-enroll but I don't believe is guaranteed to be in Alpha still.
    If I deregister the Xbox X out of the program, will it also deregister the Xbox One?

    Originally the Xbox One was in Skip-A-Head Alpha. I purchased the Xbox One X, selected registration for Alpha Skip-A-Head, and it was automatically enrolled in the Alpha Skip-A-Head program.

    I got the impression it is tied to the user who not the product. Hopefully someone in the program knows for sure.
