HELP!!!! HDCP error fix???

G'day, Noxiious! Sorry to leave you hanging on this issue. We're not ignoring anyone affected by this; on the contrary, we're continuing to investigate to get this solved once and for all. Once I have some solid information to provide, I'll update that thread.

Now, in regards to that being pushed into feedback: that wasn't to brush it off. Long story short, before we upgraded the forums we re-organized the Xbox 360 Support area and disabled/retired the forum in which that thread originated. An issue on our end
prevented us from moving the thread anywhere except Feedback, so we put it there temporarily to keep it alive. Now that the upgrade is complete, I'm able to move it back to a Support forum! Here's the new link.

Apologies for any confusion that thread movement may have caused. It's back where it should be now and we still have our eyes on it while we get the HDCP Error issue sorted out.

Tivo Premiere > XBox One > Samsung TV. Starting about 2 weeks ago, I've been having a bunch of HDCP issues. When watching TV through Tivo/X1 passthrough, the image/sound pauses every few seconds. And I can only watch <5 seconds of Netflix video before getting
an HDCP error. Finally, I'm having issues purchasing Vudu content through X1. This is all very recent. Changing the source on my TV does not fix the HDCP issue, and rebooting the X1 doesn't fix either. The only fix seems to be to reboot the Tivo Premiere,
which has a long restart cycle. Please fix! Or downgrade the fix/upgrade that caused this issue please. Anyone else experiencing this?

SUPERB 1, the info you reported is sheer gold and unbelievably great timing.

Can you confirm that this is an accurate interpretation of your findings:

1. A working HDTV overnight started to give you the HDCP error on both the XBOX and BlueRay player attached.

2. Cord changes and the such did not help fix the issue.

3. Plugging the xbox and blueray into another newer HDTV caused things to start working again.

4. The old HDTV still no longer negotiates a secure HDCP connection, no matter what HDCP compliant device you plug into it.
