    Hey Everyone!.

    I'm in a bit of a pickle here, so on 14th march so today i'm posting this, i got a code from a friend that lives in Canada for a season pass to Sniper Elite 4, it's a gift for my B-Day but i have some problems with this, for one i cannot redeem it as it
    states that (I need to the contact the Seller to get a code that works in my region).

    So i'm like okay, fancy words but i'm going to try it by changing my region on the Xbox One, it didn't work out either, is there a way to solve this/do i need to do something on this or my friend that bought it in the 1st place ?.

    Can a US Fallout 3 code be redeemed in Canadian account?

    Hi. I was gifted a code for Fallout 3 from a friend in the US. I am in Canada and I get a Xbos-0x80150017 region error when trying to redeem the code. That error is associated with account regions.

    Are there restrictions in place that are preventing me from redeeming a US code in a Canada account?

    I'm getting this error 0x80070bfa when trying to redeem a gift card. First, it said the code was from another region but now this is what appears. Anyone? Help please!

    the Gifting option via Xbox Live is something that will only work within the same region (this is mentioned before purchase), I'm afraid there are no ways around this.

    So the only thing that can be done is for your friend to contact Xbox Support and see if they can get it refunded.

    Gifting is region locked. Your friend could try getting a refund and see if he can buy a code from a different retailer that would work in Canada.

    Hello Jesse, thank you for reply and advice ! I am sorry, but can you be little more specific with "a gift card of the subscription with the "Worldwide" tag" I got xbox just few days and I'm afraid that i didn't get this. My friend is in Argentina, he gave me some game codes as a gift, but when I tried to buy some gifts in console store for him I get same issues with region. Also I've tried to buy gift on xbox store from PC and get the same error.

    I think the main trouble is in currency of my debit card, because address of my microsoft account and region of store are the same. Is "a gift card of the subscription with the "Worldwide" tag" means that somewhere I can buy gift codes with no issues?

    You can have your friend contact support explaining you didn't know and maybe they'll be nice enough to refund! Happened to me once, I'm in Canada and my friend is in the USA, he gifted me a game as a surprise but I was unable to redeem. Support gave him
    a refund as it was the day of the purchase.
