Help fallout 4 loading fallout 3 launcher

Kindly try to check if the Fallout 3 game files are completely uninstalled, here's how:

Uninstall the game Fallout 3 from your device:

Sign in to your Microsoft account on your Windows 10 device. Sign in

Select the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen.

Select Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

Locate and select the game you want to uninstall from the list, and then select Uninstall two times.

Uninstall the game from the Xbox App

Select the Xbox app icon in the taskbar on your device to open the app.

In the list of installed games on the left side of the app, right-click the game you want, and then select Uninstall game.



If the uninstallation of the game is confirmed,

Open File Explorer and then look for the View tab and check mark the Hidden items

- Go to the following path

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache (the username is the one set on your PC)

- Look for the folder named cache if you find the Cache folder then rename it to Cache.old or before you can also delete all of the contents first and see if it works and if not then you can proceed with renaming it

- Then create a new folder and name it Cache. If the Cache folder doesn’t exist by default, simply create the empty new folder and name it Cache. Now close File Explorer and reboot your PC and then check it again

Once it's all done, try to launch your game Fallout 4 to see if it works.

Thanks for you reply. I followed your instructions, there was no cache folder so I created one rebooted and the problem persists.

I just want to confirm, the games Fallout 4 and 3, were they digitally purchased, disc games, or games from the Xbox game pass library?

Kindly try to repair the game Fallout 4, here's how:

Open the Xbox app for Windows.

In My Library, select the game title.

Select the More options (…) button and choose Manage.

Select Files and then Verify and Repair.
