Help children with disabilities

I really don't want to post on here but since customer service couldn't help or give me an email to write directly I am forced to write this public forum. I am beyond frustrated with Microsoft. My sons Xbox one stopped reading discs (apparently known for
this) it was in exceptional condition and taken really good care of since he is super ocd with his belongings. My son has Autism with sensory issues and cannot wear headphones/microphone. Since his xbox wasn't reading any discs we had to trade it in and got
the xbox one s. We discovered that in order for him to use the kinect to talk on xbox live you need a special adapter that Microsoft no longer makes as a result the adapter is hard to find and outrageous in price if you do find it. Hence my frustration, my
son has to do without because of his disabilities and Microsoft has failed him and others like him by not giving another alternative to have a wireless microphone. I am hoping that by bringing this to your attention you will rectify this so that he will
have the same opportunities as typical children. I am his voice.

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone one knew how to turn a iPad into a controller into a xbox controller?

The reason I ask is because I know a child and he has cerebral palsy and he cannot hold the xbox controller. He uses his computer and operates other things by using his iPad. He has come along way however one thing he always wants to do is play xbox with
his friends.

To him its just having fun but it will also help him develop his motor skills! Can Some One please help me out!! or forward this to someone who could help!

I agree with Sinister Rage, if he is able to use the Ipad for computer then the smartglass app may be the best thing to try.

The Kinect is no longer supported, and the Kinect and the cable are both discontinued.

You could use a second controller with a headset adapter and a microphone plugged into that to achieve what you need.

All you need to do is plug the controller into the USB and enabled the mic.

Unfortunately as stated above KINECT is no more, I have looked around and it would be cheaper to buy a OG Xbox One than the actual USB adapter for it.
