Help buying Xbox ultimate it doesn’t let me do anything else than gifting it.

As far as I know you can only buy games as gifts. If you want to buy Gold, buy a physical card or a code from an online retailer.

Thanks for the answer. Xbox Live Gold can be bought as a gift but not now because of this problem. Why does Store never work correctly?(

I do not see any option to Buy as Gift for Xbox Live subscription. I'm not even sure you can gift anything else other than games.

Just as Ngocphi said, I'm afraid that is not possible. You will need to purchase the game as a gift in UK Microsoft store region for your brother to redeem it on his Xbox account.

In order to redeem an Xbox gift card, the gift card region and the Microsoft Xbox account region must be matched.

Did you buy the gift card or receive it from someone else?

If you got it, then I would suggest try contacting the retailer to see if they will do anything about it. If someone else got it for you, then the receipt should help (assuming they still have it).

If all else fails, try contacting Xbox Support to see if they can do anything for you.

Xbox live gold purchased sept 14. Age seems to be fine on settings but it won't let me do anything on ultimate team or play online.

Not sure what else to try...any ideas?

That doesn’t make sense to me because when this all started to happen I had Xbox live gold, now I have just gamepass and it’s still happening. Do I need to buy Xbox Live Gold to play or should the gamepass subscription let me play multiplayer? One more thing when I accept an invite from a friend it sends me to the “Choose your plan” screen and doesn’t show Xbox Live Gold it only shows Xbox Ultimate, why is that?
