HELP! Account isnt being recognized

So my account is still signed in on xbox and no issues at all gaming/downloading/paying, then i tried to re-sign in to the app on my phone, signed in fine but was making me choose a new GT?! so i figured i'd sign in on PC and try sort something, but when
i signed in it isn't my account its a new GT and no gamer score, no friends or no games?? But account on xbox is perfectly fine?

I've tried restoring account but that didn't work. unless there is multiple ways to restore?

Don't want to sign out on my xbox to find iv'e permanently lost everything because i will rage buy a ps4 and no body wants that.

If you can sign into your account on your console then you will want to go to settings and under the account tab go to sign in security and passkey and that page will show you what email is associated with your account on the console.

This is the email address that you need to be signing into on the app and website.

When you signed into your account on the website and it wanted you to create a new gamertag that means the email address that you were signing in with did not have a xbox profile attached to it and when you signed into your account at account.xbox.com then
the system created a new xbox profile for that particular email address.

maybe it's just THAT install button on that page that isnt functioning. I would do a store lookup and try to install it from that page. it looks to me from the install button being present that it does recognize that account as the one who bought it

Sounds like the game share isnt being recognized I'd try rehoming it to the xbox sometimes it can randomly unhome I've had happen

I am having this similar issue and am on a college campus wifi. my ip isnt being recognized by my smartglass app and i am trying to connect it to stream games.
