HELP, Accidentally changed my HZ from 60 - 120, Monitor not supported HZ rate. Need to revert.

Have done previously is this the troubleshooting menu?

Would I be able to see the menu even if my xbox is set to 120hz? And my monitor is at 60?

Hi,

1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console.
3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right
   away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until the second beep occurs

Note If you have an Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, you’ll need to press and hold the Xbox button and
the Pair button instead, as your console does not have an Eject button.

In either case, this will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, press the Xbox button to
open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV
& display options, and then select the resolution you want from the Display dropdown.

So even if I cannot view my display on screen as I have changed the HZ to 120 and it is not compatible, this will still boot and restore to 60hz with low res?

Note, I already have had the console in low res, will this restore to 60hz and low res ? For me then to be able to select my required resolution.

As currently the screen is black as my monitor is unable to refresh at 120hz

Yes, that's how its meant to work.

shut off the xbox, press and hold the sync button and power button until the safe menu comes up
