HELLOOOOO. MINECRAFT XBOX ONE EDITION. LET'S GO SON!

I don't understand how they can call it a launch title and it's not even out yet. They spent so much time on updating Minecraft for the older systems (360 and PS3) that it killed the timeline to get it ready for the next gen system release. I'm really
excited about the release of this title, but if they haven't given us a release date by now I'm predicting we won't see it until end of May or even June. I almost purchased the IOS version to hold me over, but that isn't up to date either.

I'm totally fine if they release it with bugs, I will play around it. Patches are pretty frequent so in time it will all work out. I think we waited long enough.

World war II and tank mode

Hi PianoScarf38288 (and son)! At the moment, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition doesn't support third-party mods, and there are also no mods for download through the Xbox / Windows Store. This may change in the future, especially with the Better Together Update
coming to Xbox One, Windows 10, and Pocket Editions this Fall, but at the moment there is no mod support in Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. Sorry, but I hope your son still has a blast in Minecraft!

 

Unable to Retrieve Minecraft Xbox One Edition After Being Uninstalled

My son accidentally uninstalled our Minecraft Xbox One Edition game from our Xbox. When we go to the download queue or ready to install list it is not there to reinstall. How can I retrieve it?

 

Just a "heads up", it was never called a launch title. It was slated to be released in the "Xbox One Launch Window", but obviously that didn't happen. 4J are working hard on it. I'm sure it'll be released in a month or so.

 

I think they'll release it on JUNE 10-12, 2014 during the E3...

 

As far as I am aware it should be released during August, as indicated by searching the internet.
