Press and hold your console's power button until the console turns off, remove the power cord and HDMI cable for 1 minute. Then turn on the console, follow this path and change your console resolution.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings.
Under General, select TV & display options.
Select Resolution, and then select the best resolution for your TV (either 720p, 1080p, or 4K UHD).

Whether the Xbox 360 outputs 480/59.97p or 576/50p simply depends on the territory the console was set up for. Unlike most dedicated DVD players, it doesn't switch according to the source format (at least with analog output).

Over VGA it's probably limited to 640x480 though, if that's what Nano meant.

It turned into VGA 640x480 60Hz. Before I had SXGA1280x1024. This information comes from my TV, because I didn't see on others videos the little bar with the resolution it shows me. Maybe my console doesn't send HD signal.

I think the problem is the fact that I don't have the HDTV Settings. Can I reinstall the software?

Did you remember to go back into System Settings and configure the VGA display cable resolution to match your display?



By default, it should be 640x480.
