May I know specifically the game are you referring to?

Check as well on your account order history on https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ if the game pre-order says completed or successful. Then visit on https://account.xbox.com/Profile to check if it shows your correct Xbox profile or gamertag to be sure you're checking the right account.

As the title says I am doing this on an xbox one.

I have been through the troubleshooting and have translated it to xbox one and it still does not work.

This has all come about after it saying that although I have owned it for over 12 months (too many games and babies ti get round to playing it) it says that the game was not mine and that if it was i should re download.

Now it won't let me...

I have installed other games including a brand new preorder fine
