Hello. I subscribed to Xbox live but I still can't play multiplayer online. Help please.

We need to validate if the subscription is active on your account. Please follow the steps below:

“Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.”

Once confirmed, kindly remove and re-add your access by following the steps below:

“ REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

ADD ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​“

You can't play multiplayer without a Gold account. You appear to only have Silver. You need to subscribe to Xbox Live in order to play online.

To play online and multiplayer on Xbox consoles, you must be subscribed to either Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

If your son owns a copy of the game and just wants to play online multiplayer, all he needs is Xbox Live.

If your son downloaded GTA V when it was in GamePass, he would need GamePass and Xbox Live to 1) Have access to the game and 2) Play online multiplayer.

Unfortunately, GTA V is no longer in GamePass.

If he is subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate $14.99 he should be fine as it comes with

• Xbox Game Pass Console
• Xbox Game Pass PC
• Xbox Live

I tried everything what you have said to me, but it is still nog working. I can't do anything on my account on Black Ops 1. I can't play zombies, campaign and not even multiplayer. I am mad because before i could play I bought a one year xbox live membership…
