Hello Gage, in cases like this you should wait 48 to 72 hours before making a new attempt to enter the account.

I am writing this on my child account, but my dad said he doesn’t think that he can do anything to fix this problem. (ps pls let me put any image as my profile pic idk why you don’t let us do that in the first place)

when signed into the adult account go to the settings, and go to account>sign-in security & passkey tab and you should be able to put a passkey on it using the controller. this should prevent them from accessing your account

Passkey doesn’t help. To game share the account needs to be signed in i.e. the passkey already entered. I have tried passkey but can’t really see any difference from having to enter the account password.

I think a change to how passkey works would resolve the situation. If the account could be signed in with the password but when you try and switch profile to the adult account it asks for the passkey.

Microsoft: you can have that suggestion for free!

i wasn’t letting said person use my account they were a parter whoms place i frequently stayed at so i would log into my account and play games and they weren’t allowed to use it. i should’ve put a passkey and changed my password after but it was my fault and i agree that a refund doesn’t seem fair as it was my fault but i just wanted to see if i could.

same problem! He is permanently muted. I have friend pressing the unmute button tons of times... doesn’t work. I’ve tried using the app... doesn’t work.. I have done many, many things. It appears this is on the Microsoft end and They nude to fix it TOMORROW.
