and want to know if the updated game will still read it the same

There's no way to refurbish a One into a Series S/X. Are you sure it's not just a One S or One X? Those are not the same thing.

The Xbox Series S is a newer generation console. It has a newer hardware and since it is refurbished, it is working just as a new one. The Xbox One X is not a bad console, but it is from an older generation and has older parts from the hardware. So in my opinion, a refurbished Series S is worth a little more than an used Xbox One X.

I was playing on a refurbished xbox one that was having authentication issues after the update. I went ahead and upgraded to a refurbished xbox x and am back to playing. It's the only thing I could think of and I was due for an upgrade anyway.

So if I make the One S the Home console, the kids will be able to download and play all the digital games I currently have on my One X (And future games)? And I'll still be able to play them on my One X?

And as far as Game Pass, if there's a game they want, they could tell me, and I'd have to download it onto my One X and then they'd be able to download and play it on their One S without getting charged for it?
