Hello, fight stock accessability questions

I was told to write to r/xboxInsiders about some suggestions that someone really liked about how fight sticks are not that accessible.

I'm trying to set up a fight stick so I could play Sega Genesis titles and other games that would work well with a digital joystick.

However one cardinal rule that you never seem to break is that triggers can only be swapped with triggers which makes sense in light of the original Xbox controller but in light of a fight stick does not make sense.

It actually restricts it more than it has to.

I was suggesting that you have a second mode called All Digital mode or fight stick mode or Arcade Mode in your Xbox Accessory App, so that the buttons can be freely swappable with each other.

One of the problems is that the two triggers are always on the bottom row on the outside so you have a top row of four buttons and a bottom row of two buttons that are interswappable.

Another problem in your Xbox accessories app is that it doesn't let you flip the x-axis of either the left stick or the right stick.

The reason why you want to flip the x-axis of the left stick is if your game recognizes analog only and you want to make a right-handed stick by rotating 180° my design, available on sinistersticks.com

The reason why you want to flip the x-axis of the right stick is because your first adventuring to 3D gaming with Super Mario 64 and you were taught with that to tell Lakitu to where to move the Lakitu cam. With that ingrained in mind and it wouldn't really cost that much system effort to flip the x-axis of either left stick or right stick, why is it impossible to do so?

By the way I always spoke really awkward using regular controller pads because my first days of playing home video game consoles was the Colecovision and we had The Colecovision super action controller.

And also after the collection there was a succession to put every controller in the left hand. I have reasons why that happened and why it was agreed to so easily by people who weren't the ultimate end consumers, namely arcade owners.

Finally when I went right-handed I broke free of my rut and actually beat someone who was at the time the local Blockbuster champ and eventually this person became a national all-around television champ of video games.

And the funny thing was not only did I go from Zero to Hero, literally winless to lossless in Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers for the Sega Genesis against this person but so did four other people with the right-handed stick. And this guy was the local champ.

By the way I always thought the joystick was a more accurate controller than the thumb pad or the d-pad. It felt right in the arcade and it felt kind of right at home with the ColecoVision but not exactly because you were holding your joystick and you are cramping up holding your joystick. The joke was all these 3rd Generation controllers (from Intellivision to before NES) were designed to be ambidextrous, and if you get far enough in the game eventually you will learn to be ambidextrous due to the unergonomic design giving you cramps.

By the way I was told to put it in the general Xbox category and not the feature request because this is an accessibility issue and I've been told to write to the Xbox insiders directly.

Most of my requests seem easy add an all digital mode so that the triggers a non-triggers could be remapped easily, adding flip access to both the left and right sticks, an Xbox making a fight stick design that's designed to work for both left handers and right handers. And remember some people prefer left-handed for some things and right-handed for other things like Fighters and schmups are sometimes opposite, where they like to go left stick with Fighters and right stick with schmups.
