Thank you for posting on the Xbox Communities Forum. "Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition" is only for Windows, Mac, and Linux devices. To play Minecraft on Nintendo Switch, you have to buy it on the Nintendo eShop or as a physical copy.

that has to be the biggest crock of **** I have ever heard of, i'm sorry, but if I shell out my hard earned money for a physical copy of Minecraft bedrock edition on the PS4, I should not have to pay for it a second time just so I can play the same game on my PC.

To set up Bedrock Edition on your Nintendo Switch for free after purchasing Java Edition in January 2022, you will need to follow these steps:

Log in to your Mojang account on the official Minecraft website.

Go to your account settings and look for the "Claim your free copy of Minecraft" option.

Select the "Redeem" button next to the Nintendo Switch option.

You will be prompted to enter your Nintendo Switch account details.

Once you have entered your Nintendo Switch account details, the Bedrock Edition will be added to your account.

Go to the Nintendo eShop on your Switch and search for "Minecraft."
