Heartbleed an issue with xbox site or consoles signed into live?

According to here:

Microsoft does not run OpenSSL and should not be affected by the bug known as Heartbleed.

Site says signing into live having issues,

All xbox one services shown as up and running, as you don't sign into or need a live account for updates this won't affect the updates,

The update is incomparable with consoles with out the first update

Well we thought we were safe.

Gearbox have confirmed that they believe their data may have been compromised by the "Heartbleed Exploit".

They have updated their site and are encouraging users to change their passwords.

On April 8, 2014, security researchers announced a flaw in the OpenSSL encryption software library used by many websites to protect customers’ data. The vulnerability, known as “Heartbleed,” could potentially allow a cyberattacker to access a website’s customer
data along with traffic encryption keys.

After a thorough investigation, Microsoft determined that Microsoft Account, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Yammer and
Skype, along with most Microsoft Services, are not impacted by the OpenSSL “Heartbleed” vulnerability. Windows’ implementation of SSL/TLS is also not impacted. A few Services continue to be reviewed and updated with further protections.

Emphasis in bold is my own - your xbox live account is a Microsoft Account. At any rate, if you use the same password on here as you do in other sites which have been affected, then I'd strongly urge you to change it in the event the other site was compromised.
